The Quantum Social Lab, in close collaboration with the TUM Think Tank, engages in public outreach and multi-stakeholder dialog, bringing together representatives of industry, politics, civil society and academia to explore public policy options and governance regimes to unlock the promise of quantum technologies while anticipating and managing potential negative effects.

The first event, including a first attempt to start a broader dialogue, has taken place in the form of the Transatlantic Quantum Forum. Throughout the Forum, scientists discussed across the Atlantic the future of quantum technologies and its impacts on public policy and governments specifically.
In the context of a World Cafe, bringing together stakeholders from public policy, science, and economy, especially the needs and challenges coming up in the following years, have been widely discussed. More information on the Transatlantic Quantum Forum can be found here.
