Our dean at TUM School of Social Sciences and President of School of Governance Prof. Urs Gasser together with his collaborators across multiple disciplines and institutions(Universities of Stanford, Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Copenhagen, Waterloo and Munich) have recently published their work “Towards Responsible Quantum Technology”. This deeply interdisciplinary effort includes viewpoints and assessments of experts in law, data science, theoretical physics, philosophy & ethics, social sciences, materials science & engineering and innovation policy. A conceptual framework is proposed for responsible development of Quantum Technologies, in relation to European Commision’s AI Allience misison.
